    About the Role

    We’re looking for an experienced DevOps / Embedded Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our large-scale embedded deployment strategy. Our AI-powered wearable device (AiLA) is currently scaling beyond 10,000+ units – and we need someone to automate, manage, and secure this rollout from the ground up.

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives in embedded environments and wants to shape the infrastructure of a next-generation MedTech product deployed in clinical environments across Europe.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Design and implement a scalable system for provisioning and configuring 50,000+ embedded devices

    • Develop and maintain automated update and deployment pipelines (OTA, configuration, security patches)

    • Establish remote access mechanisms (e.g., SSH via VPN, Tailscale)

    • Support hardware and OS architectural transitions (e.g., from Raspberry Pi to custom PCB or non-Linux platforms)

    • Define and, if necessary, build a robust database structure to support device fleet management

    • Collaborate closely with our developers and co-founders on infrastructure, security, and DevOps strategy

    Your Profile

    • Solid experience in Embedded Linux or similar systems (Bare Metal, RTOS also welcome)

    • Hands-on expertise in mass deployment of IoT or MedTech devices

    • Proficiency with tools such as Ansible, Docker, Yocto, Buildroot

    • Familiarity with OTA systems (e.g., Mender, Balena, RAUC)

    • Strong grasp of networking concepts, VPNs, SSH, and remote device access

    • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation pipelines

    • Working knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, or cloud-based architectures)

    • Nice to have: Python skills, Raspberry Pi experience, healthcare/medical context
